Face fillers are medicinal drugs that is injected into the wrinkled and volumetric areas of the face.

What is Face Fillers?

There are many useful substances in it. These substances contain subcutaneous cells and elements necessary for the production of collagen. However, the most important substance in the face filler is hyaluronic acid. This acid has a volume gain and is normally found in our skin. Except for hyaluronic acid, there are many different facial fillers, but the most reliable substance is hyaluronic acid. Face fillers are applied with the injector and fine needles or thin cannulae just like botox.

Treatment process

In order to minimize pain, local anesthetic cream is applied to the area where facial filling will be done. Anesthetic cream is effective in 30 minutes. The face filler material in the injector is injected under the skin. Immediately after the procedure, massage with antibiotic cream is applied.

Botox / Face Filler Differences

Botox and face fillers are two different medications. Botox is a liquid bacterial toxin. Face filler is a medicinal drug containing hyaluronic acid and some elements in gel form. Face filler, fills deeper wrinkles where botox is insufficient.

The single session lasts 15-30 minutes on average. The hyaluronic acid preparation is injected into the middle layer of the skin with a very thin needle. The effect of the treatment made according to the person’s skin structure lasts 8-12 months on average.
